You get one free trial for hair and makeup then have to pay if you want to come in for another trial; I got my hair cut shorter than I expected a month before my wedding and scheduled another appointment with Lyndsey to perfect the style I wanted with the new length. Both artists arrived on time and coordinated with me and my day of coordinator well. Best advice- have reference photos of what you want before you go in for hair and makeup, bring your hair pieces you plan to use if you have them, and create a schedule of who is getting hair and makeup done to help the day run smoothly for your bridal party and your hair/makeup artists. This group was organized, professional, and concise. Highly recommend.

Heather made me feel relaxed, listened to my needs and translated them to a natural, whimsical look that fit me perfectly. She even did a quick mini-trial after my makeup and hair trial to adjust my hair placement and minimize the pressure on my head from bobby pins, giving me the reassurance I needed to fully enjoy my day. She helped me find a solution to still add a touch of false eyelashes to make my eyes pop without weighing my eyes down too much that I was uncomfortable. She was so patient and accommodating, easing me out of my comfort zone and creating a dreamy, beautiful look that I wouldn't of had without her. Both Heather and her team elevated the natural beauty of my bridesmaids, allowing them to guide their looks while still fitting the vibe of our wedding. We all looked incredible and had a relaxing morning with them getting ready.

The most common response was “my makeup feels so natural”. I’m so thankful for Kristin and Heather making us feel so beautiful! If you need HMU they are your girls!!!!

talks with vendors that recommended two stylist the morning of. Of the few vendors that suggested two stylists on site, Flawless had the best pricing. My day of coordinator also highly recommended them. I did a HMU trial in January with Heather ahead of the big day. The trial was great and I only asked for a few mods to my hair the day of. I do want to add this to the review because it might be a surprise for some people. Heather did HMU for the trail, but she only did my hair for the day of. That was caught me off guard a little. My makeup was very similar, but also different from the trial. I did love the trial version more, but it was still very pretty the day of. No real complaints. They were great to work with -- Bridal HMU, plus 3 bridesmaid's HMU all done by 9am.

Everyone LOVED their own look and felt glamorous. I felt glamorous and got many compliments as well!! I should also mention that my makeup lasted through all the happy tears at the wedding and throughout the night! I also want to give Alana a shoutout. modating for scheduling my makeup trial and ensuring that we would have ample time to finish the bridal party hair and makeup for the day of. Heather was my makeup artist and she did such a phenomenal job on my hair and makeup, my bridesmaids makeup, and my mom and mother-in-laws makeup. Heather and her sister did everyone's hair just as the reference photos and all of our hair held up the entire night. My makeup was incredible and Heather did an amazing job color matching everyone and ensuring that their makeup looked natural. I really wanted to look like myself on my wedding day but just a bit dressed up and she totally nailed it! Heather even was able to secure a very large flower comb in my hair and it stayed perfectly in place all night despite the weight of it.

eing some of the other recent reviews. We had three artists on the day of, which I recommend for a big group. We had to meet a minimum number of services in order to make sure there were three artists assigned to my wedding morning. It was definitely worth it. I just wish the process for my own bridal hair and makeup had been different. The person on my emails at Flawless had initially told me we would try multiple hairstyles at my trial. When I arrived at the trial, my actual artist (difft from the email contact) was surprised that I didn’t know exactly what I wanted - and with another bride waiting for makeup after me, I didn’t want to make her run late by testing too many things. We did one soft updo that I liked but wasn’t super confident about. I didn’t love my makeup so I ended up spending money on a second trial. Makeup round 2 was a big overcorrection and I was getting worried that we were having trouble finding a middle ground. I found a separate makeup artist/company for the wedding day who had been able to get the look I wanted - I let the Flawless team know this prior to the wedding day. I told them it was just due to my own indecisiveness and didn’t want it to reflect poorly on my Flawless artist. I still wanted Flawless to do my own hair + hair and makeup for everyone else. The Flawless artist from my trials was doing my wedding day hair. I ended up asking for the same updo (a soft low bun) we did during my trial and asked that the sides of my hair be pulled in a little tighter (maybe with a twist so that there was a little less hair falling towards the face). I still expected the bun to look the same as the trial. My artist ended up giving me a really tight bun that even hurt a little as she was pulling it in doing the style. I could tell she was annoyed with me already at having hired the outside vendor for makeup. I think she misunderstood me asking for “tighter at the sides” as just a “tighter bun” maybe? Even though I hadn’t asked to change the actual look of the bun. Instead of the softer low bun with texture it was now a tighter rounded one raised higher on my head. I initially said it was okay because I was nervous and the wedding emotions were high. After gathering a little more courage I went back to ask that she loosen the hair style a little. She proceeded to get pretty rude with me, said that I was basically asking her for the opposite of what I initially wanted that morning. I apologized and tried to explain that I hadn’t expected it to be SO tight, still expected it to generally look like the trial, and thought there was a misunderstanding and just wanted it somewhere in between the current tight bun and the looseness of the trial. I didn’t even mention how the bun looked way different. Just accepted it. The attitude she gave me in return nearly made me cry. I tried to not let tears escape. A few of my friends and my sisters later asked me if I was okay “after that” because they also thought the way she was talking to me was surprisingly rude. I’m still left with the feeling of wishing the bun were a little lower and softer in all the photos. And wishing my artist had had more patience with me or just been kinder to me - willing to work with me a little more. It’s weird to look back on the photos and not love the hair.

and they were able to make us look beautiful without looking overdone. However, they did show up 30 min late which made things a bit rushed at the end. Furthermore, I would recommend to confirm any changes directly with the stylist you will be using on the day ahead of time; an additional service was requested by my MIL the week before our event, which I communicated with the salon (and was assured would be passed on to Heather), but came as a surprise to the stylists, who begrudgingly added the extra request after calling to confirm with the salon, but overcharged me and caused my own HMU to be even more rushed, which wouldn't have been an issue if they would have showed up on time.

the day before, so they sent someone else. She showed up 45 minutes early and sat in my hotel room and played on her phone while I was trying to have a private moment to write letters to my parents…awkward. But that was all fine. The first real issue was the hair girls were supposed to arrive at 9:30am and stay until 2:30pm. They provided us with a schedule of hair and makeup services for the day, and this was outlined in there. But they told us after being there for an hour that they had other weddings booked and they needed to leave at 11am (which was in just 45 mins!) Total panic. 6 girls still had not had their hair done when they delivered this news. Flawless rushed through their hair to get it done (not to their satisfaction, but they knew there was no time to fix it, so they sucked it up), but Flawless did not have time to do my moms. I was very upset that my hair was being done at 11:00am instead of at 2:30, like the schedule THEY SENT US said. My wedding planner called her contact at Flawless when she heard about their scheduling mistake. The woman said she would be back to do touch ups and my mom’s hair at 1:30. We didn’t hear from her til 3:30… when she finally called and asked if we needed touch ups. My wedding started at 5, so obviously that was not an option. By the time I got married, my 6-hour-old curls had fallen, and I did not look put together (Same is true for everyone in my wedding party). The front pieces around my face had fallen into 2 oddly shaped, stiffly hair sprayed thin pieces that looked awful and unnatural. Kristin did an amazing job on makeup. I looked and felt beautiful, and she was very sweet. But somehow, she ran hours behind schedule. I was supposed to be ready and getting in my wedding dress at 2:30; She did not finish my makeup until 3:45, an HOUR AND 15 MINUTES behind our agreed upon schedule! Even then, she still had to do my grandma’s after, so my grandma didn’t have any makeup on for the pictures of her getting me into my dress. I think by the time she finished everyone, it was close to TWO HOURS behind schedule. I can’t believe Kristin didn’t realize the time and put me in the chair sooner so I could go and take pics with my bridesmaids as scheduled. My planner had sent Flawless the wedding day timeline way ahead of time, so they knew what was going on. When I was finally ready, there was only 1 hour until my wedding ceremony began. It was a mad rush to get a few pictures in with my bridesmaids and get to my wedding venue. We had to scrap so many photos we had planned on taking. The whole afternoon was so stressful and chaotic due to flawless brides’ incompetence and lack of time management and scheduling abilities. I missed out on countless moments and memories I should have been making with my family and friends. We were so rushed in the moments leading right up to the wedding, I didn’t even have a moment to spend with my family or bridesmaids before the ceremony - Just to breathe and be together. I didn’t even get to stand in the ceremony space for a second and take it all in. It makes me so sad to think of all those moments I missed and how Flawless’s mistakes negatively impacted my emotions on the most important of days. I am having a hard time coming to terms with it still. My one and ONLY regret from my wedding was choosing flawless bride. Avoid at all cost.

After a first trial that was beautiful but ended up feeling a little too glam for my personality I came in again, and she helped me soften up my makeup and add the glow I didn’t know I needed! Having our hair and makeup done on location kept the morning of the wedding low stress, and they kept us on schedule without making anyone feel rushed. The end result was gorgeous!
